Salmo Visa Limited Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds applicable to our SaaS subscription products, our Legal Time consultation service, and our endorsement consulting service. By choosing to subscribe to or purchase our products and services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms laid out in this policy. We may change this policy from time to time; when we do we will inform you via email.

For SaaS subscription products, we encourage all potential customers to take advantage of our free Salmo Basic plan to explore our product offerings before committing to a paid Salmo Plus plan. For Legal Time sessions, refunds are available in limited circumstances as set out below. For endorsement consulting services, refund eligibility depends on whether work has commenced.
1. No Refund Policy
We maintain a strict no-refund policy for all paid SaaS subscription plans, including Salmo Plus. This applies to, but is not limited to the following circumstances:
Fees paid for monthly or yearly subscription plans.
Consulting fees paid upfront or as instalments.
Discounts or promotions applied during the pilot launch or other campaigns.
Payments made during plan upgrades or any adjustments between subscription tiers.
This policy applies regardless of the level of usage or specific circumstances. We ensure that customers have access to detailed information about the features and benefits of our services before purchasing. Additionally, we offer a free plan option for users to explore and evaluate our SaaS product features, or a 30 minute consultation call for our endorsement consultation before making a commitment.
2. SaaS Subscription Management
Cancellation Policy
Subscribers have the flexibility to cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting our support team.
Upon cancellation, the user will lose the access to the service which will be terminated immediately. No refunds, credits, or prorated amounts will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription.
Upgrades and Downgrades
Users upgrading to a higher-tier plan will be required to pay the price difference between the two plans. The upgrade will be activated immediately upon payment, granting access to the new features.
Downgrades will be activated immediately. No refunds or adjustments will be made for the price difference between plans when downgrading.
3. Legal Time Consultation Sessions
No refund following a completed session. Once a Legal Time session has taken place, no refund will be issued, regardless of the outcome of the advice received. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a regulated professional's time and expertise, and that the service is consumed upon delivery.
Cancellation by the user before the session. If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before your scheduled session, you will receive a full refund of £75. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
Non-attendance by the user. If you do not attend your scheduled session without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.
Cancellation or non-attendance by the Consultant. If the Consultant cancels or fails to attend your scheduled session, Salmo Visa Limited will offer you either a rescheduled session at no additional cost or a full refund of £75. Refunds in this circumstance will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method via Stripe.
Technical failure. If a technical failure attributable to Salmo Visa Limited prevents your session from taking place, you will be offered a rescheduled session or a full refund. Technical issues on the user's side (including poor internet connection or device failure) do not entitle the user to a refund.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have requested the service to commence at the scheduled time and you waive your 14-day statutory right to cancel, in accordance with Regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This waiver applies only once the session has been delivered. Where a session has not yet taken place, your cancellation rights under clause 3.2 above apply.
4. Endorsement Consulting
Endorsement consulting services are quoted on a per-case basis. Due to the bespoke nature of this service, all fees paid are non-refundable once work has commenced on your case. Where work has not yet commenced, cancellation requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. To submit a cancellation request, please contact us at hello@salmovisa.com.
